Where are the paintings?

Throughout his life, Shay Cormac amassed a wardrobe of outfits including multiple robes, uniforms, and several sets of armor. These were obtained at various points during his life, be they purchased from general stores or acquired while exploring the North Atlantic, overseeing naval contracts, or via crafting. Shay stored the outfits both at his New York manor and the captain's cabin of the Morrigan.[1]

In an Animus session of Shay's life, other outfits of notable Assassins were made available via Animus mods.[1]

  • The Colonial Raider outfit bears resemblance to the Rogers' Rangers army unit that was attached to the British Army during the Seven Years' War. This is further referenced by the 'RR' initials on the beret.
  • Despite the name and description, the Arctic explorer outfit does not provide immunity to freezing water.
  • The Frontiersman outfit is identical to Christopher Gist's outfit. So is the Captain outfit to James Cook.
  • When wearing the Versailles outfit, Shay's hair is greying.
  • When viewing the back of the Templar Master outfit, the visible parts of the red undercoat resembles a red Templar cross.
  • The Sharpshooter outfit strongly resembles the uniform of Continental Marines during the American Revolutionary War.
