Vieille Carrière was a French settlement located in the Fort Blanc area, in the north of River Valley, New York.[1]
In 1758, the Assassin Adéwalé's ship, the Experto Crede, was beached in Vieille Carrière following a battle against the Templar Shay Cormac's sloop-of-war, the Morrigan. While Adéwalé and his crew took refuge in the settlement, Shay killed the Assassin after he was distracted by Grand Master Haytham Kenway.[2]
