Vercingetorix (c. 82 BCE – 46 BCE) was an Arverni chieftain during the first century BCE. After rising to power, he united the Gauls in a revolt against the Roman Republic, before being defeated by the general Gaius Julius Caesar.

In 2012, he was included in a mnemonic set in Abstergo Industries' Project Legacy.[1]
