Theos Elpis Rift was a location in the Isolated Desert, Egypt. In the 1st century BCE, the Egyptian rebels had set up a camp here.
Around 48 BCE, the Medjay Bayek of Siwa passed through the area while looking for two missing children, Istellah and Hetanu, from another rebel hideout, Remetch Ra. He found the camp under attack by the forces of Ptolemy XIII, and helped the rebels to push back the assault.[1]
