The agora of Thasos

The Thasos Agora was the agora of Thasos City on the island of the same name in Greece.

As befitting an agora, the Thasos Agora served as the center of public life,[1] housing the Statue of Theagenes which the Spartan misthios Kassandra visited at the suggestion of the Athenian sculptor Phidias during the Peloponnesian War.[2]
