Tarbus was a Thracian gladiator employed by Faunus in Tarraco, Hispania during the 1st century BCE.

A gladiator who fought in the Thraex style, Tarbus wore a griffin head helmet during his fights, causing him to be beloved by the crowd. Around 47 BCE, his name was included in a list of gladiators for sale sent by Faunus to a lanista in Cyrene.[1]
