The Sharpshooter

The Sharpshooter (harvested from: Caleb Garret) was an Animi Avatar used by the entertainment branch of Abstergo Industries, as part of their plan to influence the general public, via the console stage of the Animus technology. His specialty weapon was a hunting rifle, optimal for felling large beasts.

Unique moves

(Low Profile, Front)

The Sharpshooter approaches his target with his rifle, before lunging its bayonet into their stomach. Following this, he proceeds to pull it back and forcefully swing the firearm around, striking the butt of the rifle into his victim's face and knocking them to the floor, where they bleed profusely from their wound.

(Low Profile, Back)

Casually approaching his target from behind, the Sharpshooter takes his rifle and thrusts its bayonet through their right calf, severing the muscle and splitting the bone. As his victim falls to their knees in pain, he pulls out the bayonet and flips his rifle around to bring the butt of it crashing down onto their head, where it crushes the back of their skull.

Rushing over to his target, the Sharpshooter suddenly kneels down in front of them, before aiming the tip of his musket towards their face. As they stand in confusion for a moment, the Sharpshooter shoots his victim in the face with his weapon from his crouched position, following which he stands back up and slings his musket around his back, watching as they fall back to their death.

(High Profile, Back)

Running up to his target from behind, the Sharpshooter places his rifle down in front of them, before impaling the firearm's bayonet underneath their jaw. Following this, the Sharpshooter kicks down on the trigger of the musket with his foot, dealing a point blank shot to the back of his victim's head, piercing their brain and killing them instantly.

(Aerial Kill)

Descending upon his target with his rifle readily pointed downwards, the Sharpshooter forces his bayonet into their chest, piercing the heart. Following this, he twists his weapon and pulls it free from his victim, who are then left to bleed out onto the ground.

(Bench Kill)

The Sharpshooter grabs his seated target's foot and drags them off the bench, until their head rests against it. Before his victim can do anything to defend themselves, the Sharpshooter forcefully kicks them in the face, violently sending their head backwards and breaking their neck on the bench behind them.

Trivia

• The Sharpshooter shares his name with an obtainable title in the second stage of the Animi Training Program, by using the Hidden Gun ability to kill 20 running or jumping targets.
• In Europe, the Sharpshooter could be unlocked by pre-ordering the Freedom Edition or the Join or Die Edition of Assassin's Creed III, while in North America, the Sharpshooter was available from the NOS Rewards Series website. The Sharpshooter was also included with the Digital Deluxe Edition of Assassin's Creed III for those on the PC platform, and later for console users with The Hidden Secrets Pack, where his customization was fully unlocked, aside from his Champion Pack.
