The Sceptre was one of seven legendary ships encountered by the Assassin-turned-Templar Shay Cormac in the North Atlantic, during the Seven Years' War.
Along with the Argonaut, the Sceptre served as an escort ship for the Assassin vessel, the Storm Fortress. In the event that the Storm Fortress was significantly damaged, the two escorts would distract any attacking ships. Despite these advantages, all three ships were ultimately sunk by Shay and his sloop-of-war, the Morrigan.[1]
