Robert Waugh (died 1862) was a photographer involved in the pornographic industry, and a member of the British Rite of the Templar Order during the Victorian era.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Waugh worked as a pornographic photographer for the Templars, using the thief Boot as a courier to send photographic plates to rookeries and alehouses. One day in 1862, after arranging to meet Boot at St. Giles Rookery and finding his courier late, he witnessed the Assassin Ethan Frye threaten and interrogate Boot.[1]

Fearing his identity might be exposed, Waugh shot Boot in the head to silence him. He then fired a second shot at Ethan, but missed and killed an innocent girl who was passing by instead. Waugh was then chased by a furious Frye, who killed him by plunging his Hidden Blade into his heart. Later, the Assassin disposed of Waugh's corpse on the construction site of the first underground railway in London, as part of his plan to acquire a rumored Piece of Eden sought by the Templars.[2]
