The Perseus Crown

The Perseus Crown was a headpiece which had allegedly belonged to Perseus, the legendary hero of the Greek mythology. The crown was part of a set of armor with pieces attributed to various heroes of the myths.

During the Peloponnesian War, the headpiece was in the possession of a mercenary. The Spartan misthios Kassandra crossed paths with the mercenary and claimed the Crown for herself.[1] In the Isu Aletheia's simulation of the Greek underworld, this crown was worn by Perseus himself.[2]

Description
This helmet doesn't make its wearer disappear, but does make them more confident with a blade.

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

Perseus Crown, a headgear in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, shares the model with Aspasia's Circlet, another headgear in the same game. Another two variants also exist in the same game under the name Conqueror's Crown.

The description of the Perseus Crown references the myth of Perseus receiving Hades' Cap of invisibility from Athena before slaying the Gorgon Medusa.
