Annapolis is a city in the state of Maryland, United States.

During the American Revolution, the Colonial Assassin Ratonhnhaké:ton sent his recruits to Annapolis twice: first to stage a Tea Party like the one in Boston and encourage the people of Maryland to claim independence from the British Crown,[1] and the second time to confirm the reports that the Templars had left Maryland.[2]
