Ann Lemay was formerly a writer and Narrative Designer at Ubisoft Montreal, where she worked as a consultant writer for the Assassin's Creed: Revelations narrative and storyline design, and as a scriptwriter for the short animated film Assassin's Creed: Embers. Additionally, she oversaw the narrative script and storyline for the Assassin's Creed Encyclopedia.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Lemay holds a Bachelor of Arts in both Art History and in Design Art. She is currently working towards a B.A in English and Creative Writing. Lemay initially started her career in 1997 by working with Ubisoft as a Graphic Designer, before going freelance into other areas of the computer game industry. She briefly returned to Ubisoft in 2005 for 2 years before going freelance again, but returned to Ubisoft in 2010 to work on a number of projects.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Assassin's Creed: Revelations was not the first time that Lemay had worked with Alexandre Amancio, as they had both worked together on the 2005 game Still Life.
    • In fact, Lemay and Amancio started at the same time in 2007 at Ubisoft, although Lemay left after two years to pursue freelance interests.
  • She also supervised a mentoring initiative for new writers at Ubisoft.
  • According to Gabe Graziani's Twitter account, Lemay had been working closely with Darby McDevitt since 2010, to ensure that key elements remain accurate both in Assassin's Creed: Revelations and the Assassin's Creed Encyclopedia.
