A Greater Cause was a virtual representation of one of Ratonhnhaké:ton's genetic memories stored in the Abstergo Cloud and relived by an Assassin hacker in 2023 through the Animus.[1]

Connor must work to uncover the truth about Jeremiah Scudder.

Jeremiah Scudder was killed after being exposed as a member of the Colonial Templars.
