The Obsidian Eye was a model of an eye made of obsidian glass and veined with gold[1] which belonged to the Kephallonian crime lord known as the Cyclops.

The Cyclops of Kephallonia earned his nickname after being blinded in his left eye. Far from embracing it as an intimidating alias, however, the Cyclops found it offensive, and his insecurities over it led to him to designing this obsidian model of an eye to use as a replacement.[2]
In 431 BCE, the prosthetic was stolen from the Cyclops' Lair by the Spartan mithios Kassandra on the suggestion of her friend Markos to hold for ransom against the Cyclops.[2] Not long afterwards, the mercenary sneaked into his base at Kleptous Bay with the intention of assassinating him and stealing his ship, the Adrestia.
