Nito was an Egyptian resident of Letopolis during the reign of Ptolemy XIII who was responsible for overseeing many of the work projects in the city. The brothers Baba and Ipuy were two of her workers.
Biography[edit | edit source]
In 48 BCE, the Medjay Bayek of Siwa travelled to the city in search of Taharqa. Reaching the Temple of Horus, he discovered Nito, visibly pregnant and carrying a heavy load by herself. Bayek offered to help the lady to look for her workers that were working in the nearby wells so as to allow her to rest.[1]
