Gift threatened Whitwell, using the reputation of his Order, but eventually gave him a delay in exchange for some "quality time" with Melissa. However, as Whitwell was introducing his young wife to Gift, the [[Grand Master]] fled, chased and later killed by the [[Black Cross]] for tarnishing the good name of the Templar Order.

Melissa Whitwell was the wife of Whitwell, an associate of the Templar Thaddeus Gift active in London during the early 20th century.

Biography[edit | edit source]

In 1927, Whitwell met with Gift in the nightclub Café de Paris to discuss the heavy debts he owed to the Templar. Gift threatened Whitwell, using the reputation of his Order, but eventually gave him a delay in exchange for some "quality time" with Melissa. However, as Whitwell was introducing his young wife to Gift, the Grand Master fled and was later killed by the Black Cross for tarnishing the Templar Order's reputation.[1]
