Maximilian, also referred to as Maximus by Osbert, was an Anglo-Saxon collector of Roman artifacts who lived in Lunden during the 9th century.

Biography[edit | edit source]

A contemporary and rival of fellow collector Osbert, who named himself "Octavian Claudius Britannicus", Maximilian was accused by Osbert of stealing a Roman legionnaire figurine in his possession. After learning that Maximilian was last known residing in Lunden, Osbert requested and sent the Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan to help him recover the figurine from Maximilian.[1][2]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

Maximilian's character model is randomly generated, at times appearing with a beard in fashionable attire, or a balding man in blue robes, or another design altogether.
