Maud (died 1165) was a Christian member of the Levantine Brotherhood of Assassins at the time of the Crusades. She was the spouse of Umar Ibn-La'Ahad, a Master Assassin, the mother of Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad,[1] and an ancestor to Noa Kim[2] and Desmond Miles, the latter through the matrilinial line.[3]

On 11 January 1165, in the village beneath Masyaf's mountain fortress,[4] Maud gave birth to her son Altaïr following a difficult pregnancy, but died due to complications, leaving Umar to raise their son by himself.[5][1]
