Hunter's Outfit

The Hunter's Outfit was type of outfit typically worn by hunters in the 5th century BCE Greece. Consisting of a simple leather top decorated with woven ribbons, the outfit also featured a single leather shoulder guard, adorned with fur and metal reinforcements. To complete the outfit, the hunters also painted red designs on their skin.

During the Peloponnesian War, this was especially favored by the Daughters of Artemis, a group consisting of women who emulated the Greek goddess Artemis, her affinity with nature and beasts, as well as her hunting proficiency. In addition to them, certain mercenaries were also fond of this outfit.[1]
