Guy Carleton, 1st Baron Dorchester (1724 – 1808) was an Anglo-Irish soldier who served as a Major in the British Army.

He was present during the American Revolution, where he was set to relieve the siege on Fort St-Jean in Quebec, Canada. However, the Assassin Ratonhnhaké:ton sent his recruits to make sure Carleton never arrived.[1]

Later, in 1782, the Assassins approached Carleton and convinced him to order the British to evacuate from Georgia.[2]
