Ealhswith (died 902) was the wife of King Alfred the Great. Together they had issue; Æthelflæd, Edward the Elder, Æthelgifu, Ælfthryth, and Æthelweard.

In 877, Ealhswith took her young daughter, Æthelflæd, on a leisurely walk through Wincestre. They were soon approached by a young boy, Esobert, who gifted the young princess a flower and proclaimed his love for her. Ealhswith humored the boy and said they would have to wait until they were both adults and received Alfred's approval to get married.
