Close friend and confidante of Ise clan daimyō Lord Sadatame, Aoki Ujimasa is a former samurai in Lord Mitsuhide's guard at Yamazaki Castle. Outrages by Mitsuhide's betrayal of Lord Nobunaga, he left for Kiyomizudera Temple, where he posed as one of the temple monks.
Aoki Ujimasa now works quietly in defense of the vulnerable throughout Yamashiro, while vainly attempting to memorize his spiel for visitors to the temple's famous fountains.
