The Couronne

The Couronne was a Man O' War within the French Navy. She was one of seven legendary ships encountered by the Assassin-turned-Templar Shay Cormac in the North Atlantic, during the Seven Years' War.[1]

At some point during the war, the Couronne, along with her fleet, took part in the Battle of Labrador against the Royal Navy. It was during this battle the Couronne met her end, sunk by Shay's sloop-of-war, the Morrigan.[2]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

Historically, Couronne was a common name for ships in the French Navy. However, this ship and the battle it participated in are completely fictional.

Like the Formidable, the Couronne uses a standard French Man O' War model instead of reusing the look of a legendary ship from Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.
