Collis Roman Hunting Camp

The Collis Roman Hunting Camp was a Roman camp located northwest of Aquaeductus Kyrenaike in the Green Mountains. It was built around the ruins of a shrine to the Greek mythological figure Cyrene, next to the Lake of Tears.

Around 47 BCE, the local Oracle of Apollo directed the Medjay Bayek of Siwa to visit the place, and claim a relic belonging to Cyrene. Entering the ruins of the shrine, Bayek recovered a golden halo belonging the figure.[1]
