Catherine Royer was the wife of Henri Royer and friend of Isabelle Romée, mother of Jeanne d'Arc. Catherine and Henri had a residence in Vaucouleurs, where the latter also worked.

For several months between 1428 and 1429, during Jeanne's attempts at seeing Robert de Baudricourt, the girl and her step-cousin Gabriel Laxart stayed with Catherine and Henri. In February, de Baudricourt's squire Jean de Metz arrived at the house with the intention of meeting Jeanne. Greeting him at the door, Catherine showed him in to where Jeanne was.[1]
