404 Éditions was founded in 2016.[1]
On 6 April 2021, 404 Éditions announced that it would be publishing a trilogy of young adult novels titled Assassin's Creed: Fragments, with the first title La Lame d'Aizu (The Blade of Aizu) releasing on 15 April.[2] On the aforementioned date, along with the book, they released a small trailer including the titles, authors and tentative schedules for the other two titles, Les Enfants des Highlands (The Highlands Children) and Les Sorcières des Landes (The Witches of the Moors).[3]
