Bonney, and criminally as Billy the Kid, was an infamous outlaw of the American Wild West, known for his gunfights and daring escapes. He became a legendary figure in frontier history, symbolizing the lawlessness and myth of the Old West.[1]

In November 2013, Evan Dean mentioned Billy in an angry, profanity-laced email rant to his Abstergo Entertainment co-workers discussing new time periods for a company project.[2]

In October 2016,[3] during a retrieval mission in Mongolia, former Abstergo employee and Templar Sebastian Monroe mentioned Billy the Kid and the Regulators while speaking with the teenager Owen Meyers.[4]
