Biography[edit | edit source]
In 259 CE, the Hidden One Aquilus was given entrance into his camp, and Gracchus, who had already gathered information on Aquilus' activities, realized that he was the Hidden One's next assassination target. With this, he stabbed Aquilus in the chest before leaving him for dead.[1]
However, Gracchus' camp was later ambushed by Alemanni forces commanded by Aquilus' cousin Accipiter, which resulted in a defeat for the Romans.[2]
