The Unopened Rose was a virtual representation of one of Arno Dorian's genetic memories, relived by a Helix initiate through the Helix Navigator.
Description[edit | edit source]
Arno discovered that the content of a previously untouched royal tomb was coveted by raiders and decided to stop them.
Dialogue[edit | edit source]
Arno picked the lock of the door leading to the tomb and discovered that the raiders had already penetrated into the vault and were trying to open a sarcophagus. After having killed the two raiders, Arno discovered that the sarcophagus was the final resting place of Queen Marie de' Medici and that it was locked by a mechanism. By finding some notes abandoned by the raiders in the tomb, Arno then learned that the lost Rose Scepter of the Queens of France was rumored to be in the sarcophagus and that the local jeweler Guilhem Lemarié, had a prototype key which could possibly open it. With this new information, Arno left the tomb for the shop of the jeweler.
- Arno: Where is the owner of this shop?
- Man: The Jeweler? Gone... in the catacombs. He was attempting to open a tomb. I have heard nothing from him for days.
- Arno: (Thank you)
Arno went down into the catacombs in search of the jeweler and after having eliminated several groups of raiders, discovered his remains in a cage. Arno recovered the key made of a sculpted human bone on his body and returned to the tomb of the Queen. There he found a new pair of raiders, whom he killed and opened the sarcophagus, retrieving the Scepter.
Outcome[edit | edit source]
Arno recovered the Scepter of the Queen of France and prevented it from falling into the hands of the raiders.
