Movie Update, also as known as the Movie Event, is the downloadable content and fourth major update for Assassin's Creed: Identity. The update was advance notice on November 22, 2016, by the official social media,[1] and released on the next day.[2]

The update following:[2]

  • A 4 weeks long special event for a chance to win the famous Benedicto and Aguilar outfits.
  • New gear from the Spanish Inquisition featuring more than 100 new weapons and armor.
  • New Relic chests will give a chance to win color variations of the Spanish Novice, Benedicto and Aguilar outfits.

According to the UI artist Hubert Tarassoff, the update cut some content like: the UI background, the database entries for the movie, and the Spain story campaign for Aguilar's origin.[3]
