A ship sailing on Lake Geneva

Lake Léman, also known as Lake Geneva, is a lake shared between Switzerland and France situated above the Alps, northeast of Geneva.

History[edit | edit source]

The remains of Assassin extremist Boris Pash were buried in a graveyard near Lake Léman after his death on 11 May 1995. Following her escape from Abstergo Industries, Pash's daughter Nathalie Chapman founded the Clinique des Rameaux by the lake, intending for the facility to aid patients with memory issues. However, while there, she used the Apple of Eden she had taken from Abstergo to run experimental Animus trials on her patients, which soon led her to create her own version of Project BLUEBIRD.[1]

By November 2017, Chapman's clinic had gained a new patient in Elisa Adler, under the alias "Elisa Bouyver", and a new employee in Dr. Florent Carpentier, who in truth was the undercover Assassin Tomo Sakagawa secretly helping Elisa. After becoming aware of Tomo's real plans, Chapman shut down the clinic and relocated to her hidden base in the Swiss Alps to escape from the Assassins.[2] Before leaving, Chapman visited her father's grave and promised to continue his work with Project BLUEBIRD.[1]
