{{Youmay|the Greek deity|the ship} }Adrestia (Ἀδράστεια) is the Greek goddess of revolt, the balance between good and evil, and just retribution.[1] When the Titan Rhea hid her son Zeus from his father Kronos on Mount Ida in Messara, Krete, Adrestia took care of the infant together with her sister, the nymph Melissa.[2]

Sometime before the Peloponnesian War, Barnabas became the captain of the trireme Adrestia, named after the goddess.[3]
