Edwin Eugene "Buzz" Aldrin Jr. (born 1930) is an American former astronaut and aeronautical engineer, and the second person to walk on the Moon. He was the Lunar Module Pilot on Apollo 11, the first manned lunar landing in history. In that mission, he collected an Apple of Eden for the Templar Order.

In the 20th century, the Templars discovered an Apple of Eden located on the Moon. Desiring the artifact, the Order planned a manned Moon mission through their puppet-organization, NASA. In 1963, President John F. Kennedy proposed a joint-mission with the Soviet Union.[1]

Fearing Soviet interference, the Templars engineered Kennedy's assassination later that same year, allowing Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson, a secret Templar, to succeed him.[1] Johnson would push heavily for the advancement of the space program. In 1969, the Templars were successful in launching the Apollo program.
