The Theatre of Pompey was a theatre in ancient Rome built during the latter part of the Roman Republic. Built for the Roman general Pompey, it was the site of the assassination of Julius Caesar in 44 BCE.

On 15 March 44 BCE, the Hidden Ones Aya, Marcus Junius Brutus, and Gaius Cassius Longinus travelled to the theatre to enact their plan to assassinate Julius Caesar, who had recently been appointed dictator for life, solidifying his and the Order of the Ancients' control over Rome.[1]
At the theatre, the Hidden Ones discovered Caesar speaking with Lucius Septimius across the arena. Aya decided to deal with Septimius and his guards, instructing Brutus and Cassius to delay Caesar at the Senate before they proceeded with their plan. Engaging Septimius in the arena, Aya eventually defeated and killed him.[1]
