==History==
In early 1582, the [[Iga]] ''[[ninja|kunoichi]]'' [[Fujibayashi Naoe]] tracked down the leader of a local kidnapping ring to the garden. Finding a small residence besides the garden, she found the leader [[Kacho]] and confronted her. Kacho met and expressed her disappointment over her [[Gamemaker|daughter]]'s betrayal before attacking Naoe. Later in the year, the [[Japanese Brotherhood of Assassins|Kakushiba ''ikki'']] members Naoe and [[Yasuke]] traveled to the garden after following a clue leading to [[Akane]], a ''kunoichi'' in the employ of [[Genzaburo]]. A former [[Bessho clan]] commander, Genzaburo ordered Akane and her fellow unit members try to kill his former soldier [[Koshiro]],<ref name="Genzaburo Soldiers">''[[Assassin's Creed: Shadows]]'' – [[Genzaburo's Soldiers]]</ref> who aided Naoe and Yasuke take down their leader and [[Shinbakufu]] member [[Bessho Harumasa]].<ref name="Broken Horn">''[[Assassin's Creed: Shadows]]'' – [[Broken Horn]]</ref> Arriving at the garden, they secretly trespassed while Akane played a performance with her biwa set.
