Sandbox[edit source]

Do you have a reason for moving a user's sandbox into the wiki's mainspace? --Vatsa (talkGentek) 12:30, March 30, 2012 (UTC)

I don't think he was aware of what a sandbox is. A sandbox is a subpage of your user page where you can work on an article or blog etc. without having other people edit it while you are working on it or flooding the article's history with your edits. -- Master Sima Yi 12:33, March 30, 2012 (UTC)
There, now he can't complain about not knowing the rules or any wiki related info.. --Vatsa (talkGentek) 12:44, March 30, 2012 (UTC)

I'm sorry about that. I truely did not know about that. But now I do. I hope it didn't cause to much trouble.

2012 Conversations.[edit source]

First of all, making many edits on the same page straight after each other can be seen as badgehunting, which is against the Wiki's rules, so I'd advise that you condense all of them into one large edit if you intend on editing a lot of points within the same page, by clicking on the Edit button at the very top of an article. I would also suggest that you preview your changes before you publish them.

Also, I have had to continually revert these edits because they are poor quality and you have only been making the page more complicated, which is unnecessary. Make sure you know how to make quality edits by looking over the Manual of Style, so that I do not have to keep undoing what you have to add. Slate Vesper 23:29, April 21, 2012 (UTC)
