Sorry mate, I'm actually not that into discussing future AC settings ^^; Also, the community here actually isn't that large, so maybe the Ubisoft forums would be a better place to get this sort of discussion going. There's a bit of luck involved in getting people to discuss stuff, I think.

While I suppose I wouldn't be all that opposed to 15th century England, I'd like to see the franchise move to somewhat more exotic locales. I can see why Japan/China get brought up so often.

I don't think there are a lot of people that walk around with fully realized characters/storylines/historical periods in their heads anyway, so I think you're going to get a lot of rough concepts of ideas and replies might take some time. Most readers aren't game developers either so it's difficult (I think) to conjure up more specific ideas surrounding gameplay and such. Character-wise, cause I'm a very character-oriented kind of person, I think the series could benefit from introducing more female villains? Up till now, they've been exceedingly rare.

Ehh, this comment has sort of missed the point of your blog >.< I hope you don't mind, it's been a while since my history lessons on the War of the Roses and right now my head's primarily filled with New Orleans society in the 18th century :P

Umm, since you seem more knowledgeable on this period anyways, what historical characters would you see being a part of the Templar Order? And how much on the forefront would you put the historical events anyways? I feel like AC3 went too far in this regard.
