Just because Desmond's story will be over does not necessarily mean he will not appear again. No he will never get as much as a single memory again, and no he can't be playable. However, Connor will be very young at the end of ac3 and deserves at least one game and maybe a short film. If not Desmond, then seals, the shroud, dds.
