She was buried in Rome. They had a funeral for her and everything. And even if her DNA was stored into the Apple, she'd end up like Subject 16-a program that can be deleted at any time. I doubt it could recreate anyone, otherwise Subject 16 would be alive in flesh and blood as would anyone Desmond explored in his DNA.
