We can't see him as he dies unless he is somehow conceiving his future child as it happens. Like the anon said, if we see him die it's from the kid's perspective. He actually has to have at least 2 kids because he is the closest ancestor of Desmond and subject 16 he needs one to eventually lead to each descendant.
