[sigh] But he hasn't had the child THAT DESMOND IS DESCENDED FROM. It's a pretty simple concept: no matter how many children he had in his life, there's only ONE (assuming there's no incest) that Desmond is directly descended from. Once he conceived that child, he/she did not inherit any memories of Ezio's life after said conception.
