Well these speculation topics are choosing the best and latest possible time in my opinion, because then the rest of the year will be dedicated to what's in AC 3 and then how it ends the Desmond Trilogy. The speculation topics will be over shadowed by all the new information, but they will return regardless once the dust settles...
