id agree theres a problem there with the moden plot, i like having it in there and as a framing device it works well using the animus to explain gameplay elements, but im not sure theres anywhere to take the modern story beyond what they've been setting up in all games to date.

def do not annualise AC. just nix the idea.

rev was a bad game compared to 2 and bh mostly because of its short dev cycle, i think it could have been made better if given more time to work on it, but they backed themselves into a corner on that. while rev added story to the series and ezios life it wasnt really needed, i mean, adding backstory was all it did, des was in a coma, you could quite easily play bh and then pickup ac3 and play and it fits continuity (almost, you could argue the jupiter bit and when des wakes up were needed).
