When Alex Hutchinson said that his story is fully self-contained with a beginning, middle and end this doesn't have to be interpreted that he will have a child at the end of the game. It may just refer to Connor's story in the game, not his story as a whole. I'm personally starting to think we will see another game with Connor now...
