I think AC1 was kinda looong prequel, and so was Altair's story. They'll likely make AC Vita (Virtues?) about Altair just cause a new protagonist is too much for a handheld and it will be hard to make Ezio into the game cuz he has too much equipments to be on Vita, unless they cut 80% of it. Altair will return, for sure.
