Oh god... can we put this to rest? AC will not become a full-on shooter and if you think you can make a proper modern AC game(unlike the modern sequences in AC3 -_-) without making it into a shooter and think it will be successful, you are delusional. In the modern world, you don't fight people with honor. They will just shoot you in the back probably 10 bullets per second(unlike the idiot Abstergo guards who shoot once and then take out a godammn baton) and you don't have invincibility or sci-fi gadgets to help you.

If you want modern day stealth games, go play Splinter cell or Hitman or even the upcoming Watch_Dogs. Oh and play on the hardest difficulty. That way, you will see just how tough a world with only guns is. A hidden blade just doesn't fit there, no matter how cool it is. The modern sequences in AC3 were unrealistic anyway.

Also, Desmond be dead, deal with it!
