Unfortunately, I can see how people would think the Assassins are the "good guys". It's their perspective we see, and it's easier to agree with them rather than actually thinking about whether they are right or wrong. The way I see it, they oppose the Templars because they want to enforce their vision of a perfect world onte the people, bun the Assassins are not so different after all. They also believe their method is the best and won't stop to think about another way to solve things.

On a side note, although Haytham was a great character, towards the end of the game, he seemed rather ruthless and just as willing to slaughter innocents to further his own goals. That was a quite a drastic change from his initial persona, who, even though was quite arrogant, he didn't seem so open to the idea of collateral damage.

Oh, by the way, Sima, you mentioned the political views of the Assassins. To be honest, I do not fully agree with you. Yes it would seem that Democracy, since it is mostly about having freedom, would be the go-to choice of the Assasins, but in this case, why would they support the Bolsheviks during the Russian Revolution?

P.S. : What's ACTC? I've never heard of this. Damn, I thought i was up to date with most of the games.
