He does not have to be from Altaïr's or Ezio's bloodline, he can be from another bloodline. The same applies to Aquilus. And nothing is known about Ezio's descendants. They most likely stayed with the Brotherhood, I wouldn't see why they wouldn't. But it seems that hardly anybody understands how lineages work...
