I already wrote a fan fiction about this. During the 1500s, Europeans deem Christopher Columbus and Ferdinand Magellan insane for believing that the world is round. Christopher Columbus would later on go westbound, only to discover the Americas, while Magellan followed and landed on Southeast Asia: the Philippine Islands. Columbus had it by luck. The orb is actually the Piece of Eden that aided Magellan in his conquest. The Spaniards retreated and returned with a better armory, then defeated the Moros and reclaim the Piece of Eden. They would later on rule the Philippines for 300 years until the rise of a new social class formed by individuals with Assassin backgrounds , the Illustrados, plotted the theft of the Piece of Eden with the aid of a widespread Revolution. Members of the Filipino Assassins-Illustrados include Jose Rizal, Marcelo H. del Pilar, Graciano Lopez Jaena, Juan Luna and many more, together with the Katipuneros such as Emilio Aguinaldo and Andres Bonifacio.
