UPDATE NOTES 1.4.0 – NEW FEATURES[edit | edit source]
As always, we want to keep our fans in the loop when it comes to the development of Assassin’s Creed Rebellion - so kick back and let us run you through everything we’ve been working on! Our next update will bring many quality of life features requested by our players which will benefit everyone and more!
What’s new?[edit | edit source]
Auto Play[edit | edit source]
Sometimes you find yourself replaying the same mission just to get its reward and it carries little to no chance of failure. Other times, you just can’t devote all your attention to playing a mission. You’ll be happy to know that we’ve made tremendous improvements to the Mobile Animus; it’s now able to run autonomous actions on the player’s behalf based on our simulation algorithm!
How it works
Just tap the Auto Play button to allow the game to automatically play through the mission: it will decide which route to take, which Hero to send in a room based on the obstacles to overcome, and even when to use a specific Skill! Naturally, you will be able to tap the button again at any time if you want to take back the wheel.
This feature will never replace the crucial input of a tactical player when things turn sour, but will allow you to breeze through missions you know you can complete without breaking a sweat!
Speed Up[edit | edit source]
Ever wonder if you have enough time to play a full mission or wish you could do more with the limited time you have to play? We know some players are all about sprinting to the finish line, so we tweaked the time management system of the Mobile Animus and are proud to introduce the Speed Up feature!
How it works
When playing a mission, you will now have the option to change the speed of all animations at any given time from Normal to X2 or X3 and back at the tap of a button (actually, 2 taps). This new feature will make you feel like a speedster going through a mission at incredible speed and cutting down your foes or overcoming obstacles in seconds! Faster, faster, always faster!
Daily Selection Refresh[edit | edit source]
It was possible for a player to go on a shopping spree and buy everything from the Daily Selection leaving it dry or buy something and be forced to wait a day to buy more. For these reasons, we will make it possible to refresh the Daily Selection! You will never run out of options ever again!
How it works
When in the Daily Selection, you will have the option to tap the Refresh button to reroll everything available - that simple!
Rearrange your HQ[edit | edit source]
Many players requested the ability to move rooms around in the HQ to make sure everything is organized the way they want and close at hand. We want you to have complete control over your HQ so we delivered!
How it works
You will notice a new button when a room is selected which will allow you to move it to an empty spot or to swap its location with another room, even in a different wing of the HQ! No more regrets because you built your Training Room in an inconvenient spot and wish you would have built it somewhere else - just move it!
Helix Rift Events![edit | edit source]
You might also notice a new button when viewing the HQ or the Map. We are really looking forward to our first Helix Rift Event and you’ll hear from us about this sooner than you’d think – coming real soon ;)
What changed or got fixed?[edit | edit source]
Fixes[edit | edit source]
- Tweaked the way the Power Score is calculated for more accuracy.
- The level of the missions in Region 3 was scaling up to Level 34 when they should scale up to Level 31.
- The game could hang in the mission “Snuffed Out” and “Someone Call the Exterminator”.
- The scrolling bar in the mission briefing screen was unresponsive in some instances.
- 0 Coin was displayed as a reward for missions not rewarding coins.
- “Air Assassinate” wasn’t shown as an option when viewing the room preview.
- The death animation played twice when the damage received by a pressure plate trap caused the death of a Hero.
- Task animations in rooms could stop working after upgrading a room.
- Some Skills would not recharge as they should when entering a new room.
- Fixed many instances of freezes in the game.
- Many more!
Improvements[edit | edit source]
- You will be awarded a Free Cube at an increased rate. You will get a Free Cube every 4 hours up to a max of 4 Free Cubes per day!
- The number of Codex awarded in Standard Missions will be increased across the board to make it easier to train more Heroes!
- We have also reworked the way Codex are produced in the Library. You will be able to produce only a single type of Codex based on the Level of your Library and it will be available in two different packs so you can decide how long you want to devote to their production. That means you will get more XP and more control on the time invested!
- Some Daily Objectives will be simplified. You won’t be required to complete specific actions in mission. You’ll be free to play however you want and will even be able to use Auto Play or the Rush Mode to complete them – really simple, right?
- Reduced the Class Requirements from 3 to 2 on certain Rush Missions to match the number of Class Recommendations of these missions and give players more flexibility to select a 3rd Hero of any class.
- Some missions were made shorter.
- Multiple improvements to the tutorial
- Multiple animations made quicker
- Optimization
A lot of cool stuff and still more in the work! We are working hard to make Assassin’s Creed Rebellion the best game possible and are dedicated to exceed your wildest expectations! As always, your feedback is always welcome; truly the cornerstone of our development process.
